Looking for a good Event/Calendar application

I've been digging through the scripts at www.hotscripts.com, and I'm hoping that someone might be able to point me towards a nice and proven event listing / calendar application.

I'm specifically looking for one that is robust, scalable, has notifications, and will allow for the sorting of events by location (city, state).

Any suggestions would be appreciated!
