trying to code an order by function.

I am trying to write a piece of code that when all the users in a database are displayed in a web page, that when you click on the title it will rot it by that colum. the only problem is the query is genorated dynamicaly, so do i have to resubmit the items i want displayed or is there a way to update a query?

You'll have to post a new query.

A solution COULD be to load all the users into a javascript, then use dhtml to update the page without reloading.

But, the pain might be bigger than the gain, since you'll have to load the full table into the page first.
And then theres the browser-compability question.
