I have a php script that displays data from a database. The data is selected from myslq, stored in a variable and then displayed. The problem is that if the data in the database has a hyphen or quotes such as the word Your's or it's, the data get displayed on the page with slashes in front of the hyphen or quotes. Here is my code that does the display:

Print "<tr>";
Print "<td colspan=2>";
Print "<b><u>Property Description</u></b></td>";
Print "</tr>";
Print "<tr>";
Print "<td colspan=2>";
Print "$sitedescription";
Print "<br><br>";
Print "</td>";
Print "</tr>";
Print "</table>";
$sitedescription is what is causing the issue. Here is an example of the way the data looks when it is displayed by this code. Thanks for the help. 🙂
