sql types

Im not much of a MS SQL developer....so my question is, what is the same as a blob data type in mysql to microsoft sql server. I need this to store verious diffrent data types in one column. (eg word docs, and images)

I was wondering if there was one data type to handle all of the ones that you listed...rather than individually specifing each one.
