seting an alias

there are 4 tables which each of them consist of a field among others, names 1) title 2)title, 3)title, 4)subject.

i want to extract these spesific fields and i want to do that with a single statement for example $row[title]

So i want to give an alias both of them i.e. title, even subject to be called title.

Is that practicable?

if you are getting the information out form a database sure...

just write your conenction string then wheny ou get into your while statement do this...

here is a example:

while ($row = mysql_fetch_array($sql_result)){
		$rs_fld1 = $row["pname"];
		$rs_fld2 = $row["pLocation"];
		$rs_fld3 = $row["pThumbnail"];
		$filesize = $row["pSize"];
		$image_type = $row["pImageType"];

In your SQL statement you can do

SELECT subject AS title FROM...

That will alias the subject column with the name title.

I put the sql statement which you wrote but i am recieving a mistake in it. 🙁
