Help with problem of redirection after updating

Post subject: Problem with retuning to main page after updating or adding

I have a problem that after I add or update a record, I get the following error message:

"Warning: Cannot add header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/runcom/public_html/Connections/newsdb.php:12) in /home/runcom/public_html/admin/newsedit.php on line 49"

The problem only occurs when I try it on my Remote server. It was working and then for no reason this error occured.

Testing on my local server (appache server, mysql) the same configurations and versions as my Remote server) there is no problem at all. Click update and it returns to the requird page that has the list of articles.

I should also add that the records are sucessfully updated or added. it is just that I am not returned to the page I request.

Would appreciate any help that anyone can give.

make sure you have absolutely no output sent to the visitor before executing header()

even a space will cause that error to appear.

Yes, I have got to that point and am going to investigate it, but why does it work on my local host and not the remote host?
