Does this not work? Do I have to make a separate variable to hold $row[link_url] and then add it with "http://"?

$link_url = ("http://" . $row[link_url]);

I got it fixed, I had to add the ( "" ) and it worked.
$link_url = "http://" . $row["link_url"];
