Date query question

Hiya all,

I'm trying to pull all the records between these 2 dates, and doesn't seem to be functioning correctly.

SELECT * FROM holidays WHERE hol_when BETWEEN 2002-06-01 AND 2003-07-29

hol_when is a 'date' field.

Any suggestions?

you need to 'quote' the two date strings
