I wanted to do a little playing with my forum's database and suggested to my self to make a statisics page of the board. One which involves how many times a smily '🙂' and '😃" is used...
I was thinking of using the MySQL's LIKE feature in SQL queries. So far, it's not going well. Can anyone shed some light into how I can accomplish this? More likely boolean operators will help accomplish this. However, lets say if a message or thread has 2 smilies, how will I add it to the total of smilies used in the whole forum?
