Hi,
I've written a user forum in PHP (www.306gti6.com 😉) that allows people to post images and urls. The [!mg] and [/!img] (replace the !'s with i's) is easy to substitute into HTML cos it's just <a href=" and then "></a> but if someone posts
[ur1]www.somthing.com[/ur1] I can't figure out how to code the replacement to turn it into HTML.
At the moment, users have to enter [ur1]www.somthing.com[l!nk]click here[/ur1] so I can just do the replacements
[ur1] into <a href="
[l!nk] into ">
[/ur1] into </a>
but it's not great cos people don't always use the [l!nk] part.
Does anyone know a way of identifying the text between [ur1] and [/ur1] in a string ???
Any help most appreciated,
Ash
