I would like a set email to go out everyday at a certqain point in time with data pulled from a mysql dbase. Any idea how I would go about doing this?

Look up "Cron Jobs" in Google and you will get your answer, To get you started try this : http://www.supercgis.com/site_searcher/faq/#q20. Remember PHP only gets iniated when someone calls it.
