starting mysql

I installed mysql as a service under Windows XP Pro. When I attempt to start the service I receive the following error message:

Could not start the MYSQL service on local computer.
Error 1067: The process terminated unexpectedly.

Does anyone know what this means?

I was geting the same error untill I rebooted after the install... I had the service to start automaticly under the Services controll pannel...

Once I rebooted it all worked ok..
