He he... just a little touch! I'm looking to get my site working, showing images etc, but I don't want the ability for anyone to get anything bad on the site through news posts or something like that.
I've read some other posts and I know how to stop html tags now, although I can't see how that would work without stopping all html tags? :S Anyway, I'd like to create some SS code (site service)... basically the same as bb code, and I know, wouldn't it be simpler just to use somebody elses? Yes, and no. Basically, I prefer to make my web sites from the beginning to the end without using others coding. Obviously I will be using it here, but I'll be tweaking it so it fits... so I suppose... well forget the comment! 😃
lol. Anyway, what I'm struggling with is creating a simple way of changing img tags to something else.
Now I have another problem. It's alright creating an 
tag that'll change to html when ready, but the big problem is stopping "script kiddies" from using that as an advantage, e.g. getting a php script to run from the image tag or whatever. So if I could have one basic example of how to replace a tag, 
and also I'd like to see how to use a system whereby you either show .gif or .jpg or it becomes a link, or just blank!
Any help is greatly appreciated,
