ImageFontLoad: error reading font in

Hi,

When I try to use ImageFontLoad to load a userdefined bdf font,
I met following problem:

Warning: ImageFontLoad: error reading font in /home/refercen/www/tempsingle/map.php on line 97

The OS is Linux and the php version is 4.2.3

Anybody can help me! Thanks in advance!

I have tried .pcf format font file.
but still the same problem as "error reading font ....."

for using fonts in images, a colleague of mine recently discovered that in newer php versions, the path has to be absolute (e.g. "/the/directory/tree/Arial.ttf") while earlier, a relative path worked as well. in our case, the (external) Freetype library required that.

perhaps this helps.

with absolute path.
