want to remove header info from body of email sent using mail()

Hi everyone,

I'm using mail() to send an email to a group of friends, but I want to bcc them rather than just list all their email addresses.

however - i notice that if i send an email that has more than just to, subject, message, I get all this email header blurb at the top of the email, which I don't want. If I leave cc/bcc/etc. off, I don't get any header rubbish.

here's my code:

$to = 'Me <[e-mail]>';
$subject = 'subject';
$message = 'this is my message';
$from = "From: Me <[e-mail]>\r\n";
$headers = $from;
$headers .= "bcc: Friend One<[e-mail]>,Friend Two <[e-mail]>,Friend Three<[e-mail]";
mail($to, $subject, $message,$headers);

Any ideas?
