clueless..

Hi,
I currnetly programme with ASp but am fast realising that it ain't that good, so am considering moving over to PHP, couple of questions before do.

Is it easy to pick up? will the ASP skills I have be transferable?
can anyone recommend some good tutorial websites.

3.Specifically I am after a decent (free) forum which I can run and customise to suit our site. This was the final straw for ASP as i couldn't find any decent free ones that didn't have the source encrypted.

GOOD MAN!!

I used to use ASP myself at university and we were taught nothing else. I then decided to try out PHP and won't look back. Although will maybe look into ASP.NET when the servers are less expensive.

Personally I picked up PHP so much faster than ASP. I had trouble finding good tutorial sites so I bought myself a book. I then read many posts in these wonderful forums to teach myself any extra stuff.
