How far can form variables go? Once set, are they available in all pages of a website or just in the linked page?

just a little more information... Form Variables are only availabe in the linked page, but SESSION variables are available to every page, such that the session is still active.

What if I have a form in a page and the action of this form take me to anther page that have a form with a JavaScript command that run the second form automatically, then how can I refere to the variables of the first form? although the tow pages are linked.
