Problems using "Radio Buttons" in searching on multiple fields

Hi,

I have been trying to obtain results from a database based on two variables submitted by a form.

Although using the <INPUT TYPE=”TEXT”> tag of a standard HTML form works fine – If I try & make the same query using “Radio Buttons,” info is only sorted on the first field.

I have included the HTML for the form I’m using below & would be grateful if anyone could shed some light on this.

I notice you have box and boox below, maybe that's your problem.

What you're really saying is, "you're either in VA or WASHINGTON" and that's fine, but if I use radios, I always have a default checked value; otherwise nothing gets passed. in other words, use radio buttons in cases where they MUST make a choice, where no answer would not make sense.

Unlike text fields which will pass the variable name but blank for the value, radios don't pass either the value OR the name when no option is checked.

Thank you very much Sfullman for taking the time to reply.

While about to make a copy of the original PHP script that the form was parsed to, in order to included it in this reply, I noticed that I was using an incorrect URL for the form to be sent to. Unfortunately this address contained a very similar script for processing single variable queries using all the same inputs! – Hence the problem. All is now as it should be & my sanity has returned!
