do you guys use some code generation tools?

I am an old fashioned programmer (or some people told me PHP/ASP programming could not be called programming, it is just scripting. so i am a old fashioned scripter).

Anyway, I prefer to write the codes manually. I may use the dreamweaver to create the HTML tags part. And then I will embed php codes into the HTML pages. And I write this php codes line by line (many are cut and pasted later on.)

I don't use any php or asp code generator. Such as microsoft tools to create ASP codes automatically.

I think the auto generated codes are too complicated and ugly, not be able to be modified, etc.

Well, but I do want to know once a while that if some tools are available now that will be worth to have.

Any code generator tools you guys use?

most of them dont do what you want to do anyway. its easier just to find a script and modify it rather than try and find a program to write a script.
