Can someone make this for me?
an msg thing that sends msg's to people.
and when ya recieve a msg a pop up pops up saying 'you have receive a msg from 'user'. do you want to read it now?
a format something like this.
Loged in:
Welcome 'user' Inbox | Send Msg
You have 1 message

No Logged in:
Welcome Register | Login
You need to be registered or loged in to send and receive msg's

um... when you click on inbox it pops up same with send msg
when you register it only has 2 fields a User name and Password, same with logging in.

um hope thats not to much

PHP being server side, you can't automatically have a message pop up to notify someone that a message has been received.

That being said, you can check to see if there are new messages received when a new page or the current page is refreshed.

A good way to check every 2 minutes is to use a meta refresh.

I'm sure there would be an application writen somewhere. But if contract work is what you are interested in write me an email, I could give you a quote from the information provided.

Alternatively I sugest learning php, and mysql. You'll get a really warm fuzzy feeling inside once you get your application working. 😃

yes but i really cant be bothered learning php as iam only 13 🙂

Yes I can do it but I think i read somewhere on this board that business or transactions should not be made though this board.

Alternatively you could either learn php as it doesn't discriminate against age. Ask half the people here and they will tell you they started coding earlier than 13. In fact I'll start a poll to clarify.

well all you can do is search to see if someone has created a 'free' app that suits your needs.

the best site i found that has good 'free' code is http://www.hotscripts.com

search and you might find what your looking for.

im currently been looking there for 2 nights and i have tried a few things but they were nothing wat i wanted..
im now looking in the perl scripts and the seem to have a few great ones that i could modify.. but im not sure if my host supports perl
