email submissions....

how do i get submissions from emails....
eg: if someone send an email to my site .... the email is checked and the contets are stored in a databae.....
its possible - ive seen it done somewhere......
but not using html forms......

how do i do it?

It depends on your mail server. You can setup your mail server to run a PHP script (or any other program) when an e-mail is received. Check your mail server's documentation on how to do that.
