IIS install question, binary or mod??

Hi all,

I want to install PHP on a windows NT 4 box running IIS4 web server.

What PHP intallation type is best for this? Binary, or with the ISAPI module? Pro's, Con's?

ok..i see other posts here regarding similar questions.

i see that pre PHP v4.3, people were having trouble with the isapi module.

what about with the newer versions of PHP? have these http & iis server crashes been resolved?

not sure, is there any way you can use apache instead, a lot more stable with php

unfortunately, i'm in a mega corperate setting that is enourmously attached to $MS.

i'm in the process of trying to slowly convert my "unit" to open source.

so, at this time...i have to stick with iis, because of other apps present (hopefully soon to be converted 🙂.

any recent sucessess, or other issues with a new PHP v and the isapi module?
