I'm spoiled I guess, but I was wondering if someone could direct me to a forum like this for web development questions that aren't related to PHP...best practices, cross-browser optimization, etc.

are you kidding me, there isn't a forum this good anywhere, regardless of what the subject is, anyway, i'm serious, but if anyone know of one, let us know

      Would someone destroy this member?
That referred to the inappropriate post that has since been removed... 🙂

yeah...there are a couple of places...maybe not quite as good...but decent....depends on what you need though...ASP--I like 4guysfromrolla.com, and forums.webdeveloper.com has quite a bit of stuff...but I must admit that stolzyboy is quite accurate...this is one of the best forums around...and heck, if you can stand the people who razz ya for posting off topic, throw up your questions anyone...usually someone answers regardless...😉

Thanks for the suggestions...I posted my question at forums.webdeveloper.com, but it doesn't really fit in there either. (I just wouldn't be heartbroken if I got booted off...hehe)

I don't suppose either of you know which font would be good for modifying screenshots of Windows programs. I have found some that are close, but not one that works for all letters.

HOW DARE YOU POST A NON PHP ISSUE...😉 hehehe...what can I say Im a butthead...:

seriously though.,..I consulted my creative department, and they said it looks like arial, but that often MS uses tahoma for Office stuff.

            Hope that helps

yeah i have used arial in the past, to do replacements on screen shots, but you have to mess with the size, kerning, and leading to get it right

It's the freakin' J and l that are causing me problems. Not a huge deal...I just occassionaly get on little crusades to make my job easier.

Thanks for the suggestions daynah...http://forums.devshed.com/ looks like it has a lot of users and is well moderated.

As always, thanks for all of your posts...even the razzin'...heh heh...that's what keeps this forum what it is.
