I need to display dollar amounts on the page I am creating. I can get the data to display with a dollar sign like this: $699000 but I want it to display like this $699,000. How do I edit the data with commas?

Thanks for your help - I tried embedding the "number-format" - I guess my problem is more complex. Here is what my display statement looks like - I'm using PHP & mySQL

printf("<tr><td width=250>List Price: $%s \n", mysql_result($result,0,"ListPrice"))

Where do I put the editing?

echo "<tr><td width=250>List Price: $ . "number_format((mysql_result($result,0,"ListPrice")), 0); . " ";

other than that i would need to see some more of your code to see if we can get the results easier than you are making it
