Hiya folks 😛

I got a page devided in 2 frames.

lets start with frame 1:
In frame 1 there is a page loaded from an other site
( i have no access to these source files)
For the people who know it its qmailadmin.
I created a php file that grabs userinfo from my site login data
enters this in hidden fields, and presses submit.
Frame 1 will automaticly login to qmail and show the menu.

The probroblem 🙁
Qmailadmin uses a $time string in all of his menu options
../../showuser?user=postmaster&dom=domain&time=2773623&
This time variable is set on the moment of login.
this time variable is not shown in the urlbar after the login.

What i need is to get this time variable als a variable in frame 2

any body have a bag of tricks

try using IFRAME as there is a body in it too, and you can php to pass variables to the other page.

Don't foget, Iframes don't work in Netscape though.

I had a project on knowledge management, and for some strange reason Internet explorer was mad at me or something so I had to use Netscape 4. I used IFRAME, and it worked.

why dont you give it a try.

wow, IFrames work in NN4 ? I didn't think they did. hmm new one on me, sorry for the misinformation.

Perhaps, but that is no reason to use NS4!
