FrontPage and PHP

I am bieng forced to use Frontpage and PHP; and, I have found no working solution. What I have tried so far is listed below. Any new solutions would be greatly appreciate any new ideas/suggestions.

Idea 1: Use ASP tags such as
<% echo("test"); %>

Result: prints the actual code not the result.

Idea 2: change the .html file to .php

Result: works great; but, the Frontpage borders do not work

Idea 3: Use CodeCharge

Result: whenever I try to add a module in FrontPage, I get an error that says, "View is empty. Please select a page." I get this error whether in Page, HTML, or Preview mode along with the Navigational view.

I have also searched through countless message boards, the PHP manuals and cried to Mt. Olympus for help but to no avail. Please Help🙂

why do you have to use frontpage, you should be able to use any html editor

My employer is forcing the use of FrontPage because:

1) I am the only guy in the company who knows how to use anything besides the God-forsaken FrontPage; and,

2) I am on the verge of going to the desert.

Even though they want to use the incredible power of PHP; but, they want to be able to make cosmetic changes without my being there. That's why I have to use FrontPage.

Seems like a bit of backwards idea, using Front Page & PHP. Things will get very messy..
The most viable option would be to create some kind of content management, but thats probably more hassle than its worth?

Do your co-workers only want to change the content or the layout as well?
I would build them an idiot-proof webform to fulfill their needs. The Frontpage-PHP combination sounds frightening to me...
