How to prevent user from sending info twice

Hi!

I have a little forum where users store text in a database by filling in a small form. Once they've done that, they go to their posts. My question is if the'res any way to prevent the users from sending their text twice once they for any reason refresh the page, cause I'm getting multiple the same posts right now. Tnx! 🆒

I'm not sure if this will work, but it may. After the information is sent, rather than printing out the page, redirect them to the page. This can be done with header("Location: url/to/the/location");.

you can actually check if the submit button was pressed 2 times or something so

if($_POST['submit'] != 1)
{
//most likely they have submitted more than once
}
else
{
//stuff here
}
