Personal Server for PHP

I need some info.. Can anyone tell me how to set up my system to work on a php site without having a host? Sort of like having my own server but only I can access it to work on my web site until I get a host. I tried BadBlue but its a pain. Is there an easier way? Thanks for any assistance you can give me.

Thanks barand. I loaded phptriad, but Im new to this. I clicked on phptriad control panel but nothing happened. It seemed like it installed ok.

YOu need to let us know where you want the server:Windoze of Linux / Unix

I'm running windoze and i have a development server.

It consists of Apache Web server / PHP and mysql

If you need help with that then i'd suggest you snoop around the installation board - theres bound to be lots of useful information there

Its XP. I'll post this on the install board. Ive looked through those posts, but havent found a very detailed explanation. Needs to be real detailed LOL..
