Retrieving all form data?

how do I retrieve all data submited by a form? Like lets say I have a form, with a few check boxes, and also have a submit button, How do I get all the data that was checked and what is it returned as? Is it returned in a global array? or just an array? Thanks for any help. 🙂

It is sent either by GET or by POST and can be retrieved through $GET or $POST, which are global. To read a field named "field1," use $GET["field1"] or $POST["field1"].
