session cache limiter

Do you know what does it mean:
Warning: session_start() [function.session-start]: Cannot send session cache limiter - headers already sent (output started at /var/www/htdocs/zim/connecting.php:5) in /var/www/htdocs/zim/connecting.php on line 6
???

When I publish my site on windows server everything is ok, but when I do it on linux, I receive this comment. I suppose that I have to change sth in settings but don't konow exactly what - I'm not keen on linux...., can you help me?

ok, I've got it:

session_cache_limiter('nocache');

I don't know why it would work on Windows but not Linux, unless you're getting another error, and the error is causing the output. Can you give us some code to see where the error may lie?
