I'm trying to figure it out. First I tried to access my output param by passing it by reference per the manual but call time pass by reference has been deprecated. Instead of changing this behavior in the php.ini I would like to come up with a long term solution. I can't change the declaration of a function that I did not create, can I ? Hmmm .... even when I enable call time pass by ref in the php.ini file I can't get my output param returned to PHP.
Not good.
