Hi, I am a newbie. I know some PHP, but theres alot of little detail questions I need to ask along the road of learning, so I kinda need someone as a PHP Mentor to me. If anyone has the time to help a kid with unlimited potential out, please say so. Thanks!
mentor?
I would help ya out alittle, but i dont think i know enough to help you any lol... i've got most of the basics down.. im moving on to mysql usage and stuff...
same here! Maybe we can help each other =), I just bought the book, im moving onto Arrays.
I would consider this entire board to be a mentor. That's why it's here, to help people answer questions and to help solve problems. Always remember to use the search feature first and if that doesn't work then post a way. Someone around here is bound to know the answer.
I dont wanna "flood" thisboard with easy easy question
Then use the search function. Or you can contact me on AIM, MSN, Yahoo, or ICQ if you need help, the info is below:

Feel free to contact me for whatever you need. I might not know the answer to every question but what I don't know I'll find out so I can learn as well .
You are welcome to contact me too. Same as most people, I don't know "everything", but I work a lot with PHP and MySQL. We can probably feed off eachother like the others said.

Drop me a line if you have some questions.
A good place to look for scripts is asking me- =)
And a good way to get your hand bitten off is by asking me
No seriously, I am very experienced in Perl and PHP (programming in perl for 5+ years and PHP for just a little while but studying hard) At any rate... I can help.. You can email me, and soon, I might consider printing up a little manual and being able to mail it to people... shrugs...
Also, if you ever need any help with anything, either search these forums, and if you can't find your answer, then simply make a new thread containing your question! That's what these forums are for
