Here's a dumb question. I'm moving my website to a different web host. My site is listed high on many search engines. Once I transfer the domain name to point to my new pages on the new host--what happens to my search engine links? I assume these links point to my domain name--not IP--so surfers will arrive at my site on my new host once the transfer is complete. Is this correct?
