SMTP Server

What is a good SMTP server that I could try out, that works well with Apache 2., PHP 4.2, and Windows XP home edition?

why not use your isp's smtp server?

I want to set one up on my computer, so I can send emails using my PHP scripts locally.

ArgoSoft, Even the freeware version is better than other servers.

You can still use your isp's smtp server - simply put the settings in your php.ini

thats what i do and it works a treat

I can't believe I didn't think about that in the first place :rolleyes: I'm going to be doing that, instead of running my own SMTP server 🙂😃
