How to include a result instead of code

The include command can be used to include code, but I am looking for a way to include a result of a script into a onther script. I need this because I want to use the result of one database in a script that is located on another host, but the first host doesn't allow anything but 'localhost'. Any ideas? Gracias!

The "result" is actually a numeric representation of a set of results in the dbase. Hence, the result from one database will not be the same in another, unless they are identical.

reading your post again, I'm not sure exactly what you mean. At first I thought you wanted to use 2 db's, but now I'm just confused.

I suppose you could use header() to send the result to another script like so:

// ...db connect & resultset stuff here...
$db_value = $result_value;
header("Location: http://www.someotherdomain.com/script.php?value=$db_value");

Something like that?
