Protecting SWF files

Heya, i am trying to figure out a way of protecting the SWF files on my server.. In short, i don't want it that they can be downloaded other from a swf movie..

I was thinking of referrer and stuff but no luck there...

Use ActionScript. You know... the build-in scripting language for Flash...

I'm not much of a ActionScript programmer, so I couldn't tell you off the top of my head how to do it. I'm pretty sureh though, you could check the referrer from the movie using ActionScript either in a onLoad event or some other event for when the movie is downloading. If it's not correct then stop downloading, or don't allow the movie to be played.

its not possible to my knowledge, because the users has to download the accual swf to a temp dir. unless you can somehow make the flash stream... which i dont know if is possible. anyways. yeah, as far as i know you cant stop them from downloading it. but you can protect your swf movies from being imported back into Macromedia Flash.
