not supposed to yell for help, but HELP!!!!

umm... I did a silly thing... my dad recently bought some space on geocities... they kindly add to their sites phpmyadmin, which is really why I started to get into php... When you install it there, it tells you to put in a username and password so its nice and protected from evil people coming to infringe on people's precious privacy... (oohhh... aliteration, and I didn't even mean to!)

So I downloaded it here on my machine so I can have a nice database management utility for my server...
about 2 minutes ago I realized "Hey! anyone can access my database! I didn't set a password!!!" So I popped into phpmysql and it kindly told me in pretty red lettering something along the lines of YOU DONT HAVE A PASSWORD! THAT IS A VERY SILLY THING NOT TO HAVE!
So I put in a password and promtly locked myself out of my own database.... Its not that I don't know the password, its just that there's no place to input it!

Find the config.inc.php file in your phpMyAdmin directory. You'll find a line that looks like this:
$cfg['Servers'][$i]['password'] = ''; // MySQL password
Simply put your password in between the single quotes. Also you might want to check into putting an htaccess file in the phpMyAdmin directory to keep others out of your admin.
