From my observation, the main, deep-down reason is that they simply didn't apply for enough number of jobs, or send enough number of resumes. So please don't lose heart if you're still looking, just keep doing it..

Or if you really feel exausted, try using some software tools to automate things, such as [url]http://www.hotjobspider.com,[/url] etc....

Also it can be because some employers just demand wayyyy too many credentials. A lot of the job offers I've seen (in my area) asked for someone who's both a coder and a graphist, who has one or two university degrees, who have 5+ years of experience, etc... :mad:
Thankfully, a place full of nice immigrants gave me a chance 😃

Well sometimes getting a job can be fustrating. A reason for that is you need experince. If you cant get a job to get that experince. How are you going to get a job.

5yrs is a long time espeacially in computers. Lots change and you must be able to keep up. If you cant your out. So getting 5yrs isnt going to be an easy task. Not just yet anyway.

If i were anyone trying to get a job. Just go over the things that are required. So unfortunately ASP, XML, XHTML, HTML, Java, Javascript, PHP maybe C or C++ could go along way as well.

Some may even hire you if you know a bit about Flash. But dont count on flash being around for much longer.
