Whats the difference between src and i386 rpm files? I have Red Hat Linux 7.2. I was planning to install PHP, MYSQl, POSTFIX, and FTP with RPMs since Im a newbie, now which type of rpm should I choose?

src is the actual source code, which you would have to compile yourself...

i386 are the rpms for the i386 install of Red Hat, which is probably the one you have if you are using a pentium compatible machine... and seems to be the only one available with RH 8.0

others rpms include sparc and alpha...
