IP to domain name

hi,

i need a function to map IP to a domain name, like:

64.56.33.11 -> news.com
or
124.56.22.33 -> acc94-dsl4.siol.net

i thought "gethostbyaddr()" will do it but it isnt working... sometimes it returns name of the computer rather than the domain name... for my friend it will return only this:

DRAGON

because this is the name of his pc. i dont need "DRAGON" thing, i need acc94-dsl4.siol.net.

but keep in mind it will work for some of you while if wont for the rest...

Heh, if you have a 1am3 ISP like mine, you can't even get a name!!! Your page shows the IP, and from a shell prompt:

#host 204.xxx.xxx.xxx
host not found, try again
