chinese mix english

i am doing a web system now by mixed chinese with english. i was using dreamweaver MX to develop. i can write the chinese word at dreamweaver but cannot display in IE even i open the chinese translator already.

Only a way can display , when i change charset to chinese Big5 or GB.

But the english word will be change to the type of chinese. it quite ugly to me. so i hope can display in normal word.

You have to keep the encoding tag in order to display Chinese automatically under IE when View->Encoding->Auto select is checked.
If you don't like the English font, then implement CSS(cascading style sheet), but it's gonna be messy when you mix Chinese with English a lot.
