Sessions and history

When filling in input forms whilst in a session I have a validation script if the values are incorrect.

The only problem is that when the user clicks on the browser back button to alter the form values the values dissappear??

Can anybody tell me how I could chanmge this setting?
I have heard somebody mention a header??#

Why don't you just make the validation into a function, then call that function on the submit. That would probably be the easiest way.
If you want to do it the other way, then after you pass the variables into the session, you must have session_start(); at the top of the form page then have something like this:
$variable = $_SESSION ['variable'];. This should work, but I would still think that the first way mentioned is easiest.
