Hi, I know this is PHP forums.

HOwever, I need to do a form calculator in javascript as the page has to be on-the-fly (displays the results instantly)

Say...I have :

<select name="list" onChange="rackSpace()"> 
<option value="0"> Pick one 
<option value="20"> 1 U 
<option value="40"> 2 U 
<option value="60"> 3 U 
<option value="80"> 4 U 
<option value="100"> 5 U 
<option value="120"> 6 U 
</select> 

<select name="list2" onChange="amt()"> 
<option value="0"> Pick one 
<option value="20"> 1 GB 
<option value="40"> 2 GB  

<option value="60"> 3 GB 
<option value="80"> 4 GB 
<option value="100"> 5 GB 
<option value="120"> 6 GB 
</select> 

then I will go to some function called rackSpace and do calculations there.. Say the persons selects 2 U of list and 1GB of list2. I would then have to add up the values of the selected choice.

I have zero knowledge of javascript n need help here. pls!

off the top of my head -

I see you have a javascript call from each select - well its up to you how you want to do the call.

p.s. I havn't tested the above - but it may help point you in the right direction.
