Can anyone point me in the direction of a "Tutorial for Dummies" on how to take a downloaded zip file of a php/mysql calendar and laod it on the web server I use. My host is PHP/MySQL capable. I have tried everything under the sun and moon for the last 6 hours but have gotten absolutely nowhere. I downloaded EXTcalendar from HotScripts. All I want it to do id display on my web site. How?????

Unzip it, and upload it. You can then view it through the browser. I'm sure it has some form of documentation if it's even worth using.
I did unzip it and upload it. I also am using CPanel and trying to figure out how to import the cal.sql file the README.txt is explaining to do but with no luck.
Guess I'll have to go hire someone as this really needs to get done.
Thanks for you help
Jeff
I've never used CPanel. Do you have access to PHPmyAdmin or something similar? You can run queries from files with that with relative ease.
yeah, depending on which cPanel you're using, there's a link for "MySql Databases" or "phpMYAdmin". in some cPanels, the phpMyAdmin link is available after you click the Mysql link. do you know which cPanel you're using? "Bluelagoon", "vertex" etc?
I have phpMyAdmin available to me and I believe the CPanel is v. 5.0 bluelagoon.
