Image Uploading

I have done a site in PHP and uploaded to the server.There is an image uploading option in the site and when it is doing it will throw an error of unable to create directory.I set the folder's CHMOD to 777 but still produce an error.Do I make any changes in the code?

check temp directory settings, don't use the [MAN]copy[/MAN] function but the [MAN]move_uploaded_file[/MAN] function to get the file from temp dir to upload dir.

And a little CHMOD on the uploaded files can allow you to manage them in FTP when the time comes
