hi..

got a problem with what is going in2 da database.

i have a form where a member can select a player.. and then it goes to the database but instead of name going into the database.. the value is...

code is as follows..

any ideas how to get the name to go insead...

very stuck... have run out of ideas??

either replace "no." with "name" in value=
or before inserting in the db, "translate" it, for example with
another dbquery like "SELECT name FROM players WHERE nr=" . $_POST['player1'];
