I saw this snippet of code, but I can't figure out what it does, anyone?

  $foo = <<<BAR
...
...
  BAR;

It's got to do with some sort of "home-made"-templates

it saves everything between BAR and BAR in $foo

[mo0ness]

This is called here document style - its basically easier to assign a variable to a large block of text.

Instead of..
