Win32, Apache (1), PHP, Blank Window

System:
XP (All MS critical updates installed)
Apache (have tried this with both Apache I and II and no go)
ZoneAlarm (access granted to Apache and PHP as internet srvs)
PHP 431 for Win32
Set up the .ini file, and verified no errors w/running php.exe

Newbie to PHP. Set up the earlier version of Apache to run as that is recommended, also tried w/Apache II.

Problem: When I call up the window with the PHP code (to do something rather simple: print "Hello World" - blank window. Checked the Apache logs and nothing is showing as an error. Also checked for a PHP logfile folder and can't seem to find one.

Any help greatly appreciated

I think in your httpd.conf file you are missing this

ScriptAlias /php/ "c:/php/"
AddType application/x-httpd-php .php
Action application/x-httpd-php "/php/php.exe"

But i may be wrong

You were right - left those lines out. Thanks - appreciate it.

I has also missed the update on the php.ini file with the doc_root value (now points to the Apache doc root path).

I also copied over the necessary set of DLLs into the C:\Windows\
(on my system the rootpath appears to be C:\Windows\ vs. C:\WinNT\ - upgraded from 98).

I also updated the logging in the php.ini file to hopefully provide a 'full log' - hopefully providing more info on any issues arising. But I can't get a logfile (yet).

Anyhow - with all of the above - still no output on the page, and no errors coming up in the Apache logfile.

I'll keep digging through the docs and notify if I can't figure it out. And again - thx for the help.
