PHP Score bored/Java Game

Hello, i'm a total n00b to PHP but i do understand it a bit. I can't make anything but i can install tons of it, and edit it a tiny bit.

Well anyway, i have a game and its called 'Snake' (javascript) Most of you get the snake on nokia phones. Well i have it and it has a scoring link. Where you see your score and then when u die, it reloads to '0'. I wanted to know if i could make a scoring board with it, so Guests can play it and put their name, and it STAYS there until someone beats it. Like 'Top 10 People'.

So, too hard for a n00b, or too hard for yall experts?

Well how do you plan to do it? Insert it into a database? Keep a text file? Should be able to be done, you just need to know how you want to do it.
