Blank search - Display all records

How do you setup a search form to display all records if nothing is entered in the search box?

Example: If I have 20 records in my DB, and nothing is entered in my search box, I want all 20 records displayed on my results page.

I'm using Dreamweaver MX for all coding - very limited experience writing statements, etc.

I would appreciate any assistance.

or you could just use wildcards:

SELECT whatever here
FROM yourDB
WHERE yourFIELD=%$form_var
